The Crown King comprises two pieces: the jig itself and a versatile and reconfigurable insert/adapter
Without the insert, the jig is positioned for cutting 45 degrees spring angle moldings
The insert quickly reconfigures the jig to accommodate 38 degrees or 52 degrees spring angles
In combination with a miter saw, the Crown King can create precise joining angles every time
Simply measure the corner angle, divide it by half, set your miter saw to that angle, cut and fit
No complicated compound miter angle calculations are necessary
The jig further simplifies the creation of crown molding by eliminating coping of joints, compound angle cutting, back cuts, auxiliary fences and confusing upside down miter box positioning
