Adoorable Race

The pieces are cute and colorful and seem well-made. Concept is cute but the first time playing we spent more than half the game trying to spin the last correct color/shape/number to finally reach the end. Kind of strange for a kid to sit there and continue passing around turns until someone finally gets the right one. Also, they only provide one plastic spinner arrow so you have to keep taking it apart and it is difficult to do so. What child is going to pull apart the spinner to switch it out each time they want to change the way the game is played. Couldn't possibly cost much more to provide a few more plastic pieces. The doors are very cute but not very practical - do you open it to go through, then close it again for the next person - it's all a little confusing and wobbly (the doors are hard to balance upright so we played with everything flat), especially for young kids. And good luck trying to put all the pieces back in the box - it arrives packed as tightly as a puzzle and will never fit in there again. What happened to all the old fashioned games that were well made and actually made to be played by kids?

Wow, I just opened this to check it out. I was very disappointed with the quality of the pieces. They are sloppily painted and you can see burn marks of where they were cut. The spinner is a total headache! I could hardly pop in the peg for the arrow to mount to. Then the arrow wouldn't spin. Removing the peg was less difficult, but still way more work than it should be. I haven't play the game but I hope it makes up for the craftsmanship. I also bought one as a gift and am reconsidering gifting it.
