The core duo of Hot Dogs In the Sun consists of Gary Garrison and Steve Stevenson. Along with the help of their perennial buddy, Kevbo, and ever so loveable robot sidekick, Emiglio, this futuristic collective is on a mission to spread their brand of positivity through the power of song and dance. Surprising as it is, the story of Hot Dogs In the Sun is not all hairspray and glitter. Back in the mid-eighties, shortly after his arrival on Earth, Steve's pet robo-chimp, Cocoatron, was kidnapped by intergalactic gangsters. Ever since that fateful day Steve, Gary, Kevbo and Emigio have made it a priority to travel through time and space to get to the bottom of this ongoing mystery case. Steve was born and raised on the planet Zembar, located 2.5 million light years away. His original intent for visiting Earth was to make a quick stop to pick up some synthesizers to add to his collection of instruments gathered from different planets all across the universe. However, once Steve set eyes on the beauty that is California, he knew there was no turning back from that point on. Finely tanned skin, perfectly PH balanced hair, totally epic waves. This was the bikini zoo that Steve so often dreamt of. Steve first met Gary while posting fliers regarding Cocoatron's disappearance. Gary felt Steve's pain and offered up his robo-cat Meowmatron with whom he had just replaced with the love of his life Misses Meowmerson. Gary could see that Steve wouldn't be happy until he was reunited with Cocoatron, so Gary committed himself to the cause as did Kevbo and Emiglio in time. One night after kicking down doors and settling scores, while riding their magic rainbow back home, they all engaged in a sing-along and that's how the Hot Dogs In the Sun were born. Gary's original intent for entering our dimension was to spread his superior knowledge of reading and comprehension. He was to do this by teaching and preaching the word on his patented learning system quot;Positronix.quot; It didn't take Gary too long on the lecture circuit to realize that we were already using this learning system, minus the positive thinking aspect, only we called it Phonics. Gary only later decided to spread his message of positivity through lyrics and music after meeting Steve. There's nothing in the world that makes Gary happier than a putting on a pair of tight sweatpants and cuddling up to Misses Meowmerson while falling asleep to an all night meowmathom. Gary has not returned to his alternate dimension since 1990 in protest of it's sweatpants ban. Authorities there apparently associated wearing sweatpants with the act of quot;giving up.' Through the years Hot Dogs In the Sun have expanded their collective with a large array of characters, including Elijah the sensitive unicorn, Raul Tomlinson, Leland the down on his luck wizard, an electric mermaid and Top Cop just to name a few. Gary, Steve and the Hot Dogs are true American heroes on a true mission to dance their way through life's strange mysteries and bizarre yet sensitive subject matters. But like the boys would say; quot;Were the Hot Dogs In the Sun and we're here to get things done!quot;
