I purchased this LG Stylo 5 phone to replace my almost 4-year-old Total Wireless phone. I have to say for me, it works wonderfully, it's plenty fast and runs the few little apps I use just fine. I'm not a big Cell phone user by choice, but I have been in electronics for 30 years. This phone has a very nice screen. The colors are nice, vivid and sharp. The text is easy to read, and the phone has functions that are very handy. The data is 4G, but it really seems fast, and I feel like it has a good circuit inside for handling the Data side. Videos are nice and smooth. In almost 4 years as a Total Wireless customer, I have been VERY satisfied with their service and coverage. I have only had one problem in all that time, and it wasn't Totals fault. The local tower had an issue and my data and phone wouldn't connect, but the WI/FI would work. I didn't know until I called them. I was back up in less than 15 minutes. The WI/FI works good on this model. It's stable, and you can set quite a few options for handling WI/FI signals. The sound is pretty good on the Stylo 5. It's a small speaker, so don't expect great sound. But the voice on a call is clear and easy to understand. This phone has a standard headphone jack, so you can use wired headphones if you would like to. Headphones, whether wired or Bluetooth sound great. The phone has an Equalizer setting in the sound setting option. Bottom line, I'm very satisfied with this LG, and it gives me everything I need.
Now, like most everything today, there are a few things that may be an issue depending on your use. 1) The memory could be more. It's 32 GB, but the OS takes up half, so you only have about 16 GB to use. I put a 256 GB high speed SD card in mine to save all my pictures, files such as e-books, PDFs, MP3 music, and video recordings or any video files to. That frees up the phone and keeps it fast. 2) The phone is light and slick, so it's very easy to drop. I purchased, and I recommend a good case that will give you a solid hold on it. 3) The camera is good, and for me takes great clear pictures I'm fine with it. But, it's only a single lens and not the multi lens like your seeing today on other models. So, if that's an issue for you, this phone may not be a good choice. I also use an app called All-In-One cleaner to keep my phone clean and shut down any app that doesn't need to run in the background down. It does a good job keeping it running as smooth as possible. So, would I recommend this phone? The answer is yes. But depending on the kind of user one is with their phone, some of the things I mentioned may be an issue. But as far as value, style, quality and ease of use. I'm very happy with it. I have no buyers remorse and would buy it again.
