Raja Royal Meditation Chair

The Raja Meditation Chair is our top of the line model featuring carving on the legs and front as well as decorative Coconut wood inserts on the top. The most significant difference though is the addition of short arms that help in getting up and down and add visual weight to the piece. The name Raja derives from the Sanscrit meaning "Royalty" and you will find this chair a royal addition to your home. The front of the seat of the Raja Meditation Chair drops 3 inches from the side to the middle to allow for the feet to rest more comfortably below the knees while the back of the seat remains straight accross to raise the hips slightly. The arms on the Raja Chair were designed not to interfere with crossing the legs on the chair and can help with those wanting to rest their arms while sitting. The dimensions and design of the Raja Chair are otherwise the same as the Seagrass Chair so both will work equally well for supporting good posture in meditation.
