Time and Tru Women's Intarsia Teddy Sweater

This item is so lovely. It's soft, lightweight, washes well in the machine, and sizing is true to size. I choose blue and it's the perfect color. Colors are true to images on the website. I definitely recommend. The quality itself is impressive. I don't feel like it's thin at all. Perfect!

I don't know if people are just growing overly accustomed to the long, loose-fitting sweaters or what--but I'm shocked by all of the negative reviews across a variety of this recent season's Time and Tru sweaters (with the common complaint being that these run short or are cut "cropped"). For the record, I am 4'10" and 115 pounds. I always buy XS in Time and Tru both in their bottoms and their tops. This sweater was no different, where I grabbed an XS. It fits me PERFECTLY, with the sleeves not being too long, nor is the length of the body too short. The bottom hem hits me mid-hip, and this looks very professional, yet also can be dressed down to be more "cute casual". I'm a therapist, and this sweater has paired magnificently with dress pants, pencil skirts, ponte pants, jeggings, and jeans. I recognize that not everyone wants a traditional cut/length in their sweater, but I would never describe this as cropped. I think it's a very typical traditional length for a sweater from a time prior to everything being long, baggy, and/or flowy. If you are looking for a looser, baggier fit, then I'd recommend sizing up. For anyone else looking for a true fit that mirrors the model(s) in the photos, then buy your true size. The sweater isn't form fitted, but it isn't loose/baggy, either. I'd consider this a classic cut or classic fit. I enjoy my flowy, long sweaters as much as the next person, but that is clearly not the style of this particular sweater. The colors are also true to the images; I bought every single color available in XS. My favorite is the copper/rust color and the blue/sapphire. If this came in lavender or deep purple, I'd love to see that. This will forever be one of my favorite Time and Tru purchases. I'd highly recommend, especially if you are a young professional looking for a way to elevate your wardrobe without breaking the bank. This sweater looks significantly more expensive than it is (especially if you catch it on sale). Highly, highly recommend.
