Guerlain Parure Gold Radiance Foundation SPF30 01 Pale Beige 1oz 30ml

Guerlain are about the only company who do a pale yellow coloured foundation. This shade is so much more flattering than cool or beige toned shades, especially as you get older,( whether your warm or cool). I used Chanel, Sisley and Dior for years , but this is the best.

I bought this foundation a month ago, and it delivers. It's light on the skin, you barely feel it, the sensation on my face is fresh and the perfume is nice, subtil and classy. This is the foundation that does everything I want: it unifies and perfectly match my skin tone (be sure to buy one shade lighter than your own skin because it will give a healthy glow), it makes my face shine in a discrete and satisfying way, it holds long enough for me to wear it a whole day, it's extremely confortable, and makes my skin feel smooth and flawless. To give you a bit of background, the first foundation Guerlain that I use was Lingerie de Peau, and I instantly fell in love with it. Now that they will stop selling this edition, I had to choose a new one, and trusted Guerlain with this new foundation Parure Gold to give similar features to Lingerie de Peau. Needless to say Parure Gold is even better than Lingerie de Peau, and convinced me it is now my go-to foundation. I also tried the foundation Guerlain L'Essentiel, which is known for having a healthy composition for the skin. However, I found this foundation to be heavy, unconfortable and not very flattering in the way it made my skin look like. This foundation didn't match the tone of my face, instead I felt like it recovered all my face evenly, which made me look pale and sick (I couldn't fix that with blush or with any glow-giving make-up). Also, this foundation didn't hold on my skin at all. After one hour of wearing it, it became caky and patchy on my forehead, on the sides of my nose, under my eyes and my chin. In conclusion, I recommend the foundation Parure Gold.
