This ostomy skin barrier comes with ceramide, a natural moisturizing component of skin. Ceramide helps keep the skin around the stoma from getting dry and itchy. This makes it possible to wear the CeraPlus™ skin barrier for extended periods. This extended wear barrier helps maintain good peristomal skin health. The skin barrier tape is trim to fit and works for oval stomas that are expanding or contracting. The adhesive border keeps the tape in place and sticks closely to uneven skin surfaces and skin creases. The strong adhesion maintains the barrier and protects the skin from stoma output while the wearer is out and about.
