After 2 1/2 months, I'm quite happy.

1. Minimal assembly required, though it took some finesse to get some of the bolts to line up. The video on YouTube is helpful. 2. Suits my purposes: Daily walks and moderate jogging twice a week. 3. Relatively well cushioned. I can't jog on concrete or asphalt. I have a history of fairly serious knee, ankle and toe issues. So far, no problems at all on this treadmill. 4. It's not excessively heavy (a little over a hundred pounds). We had to get it up 35 steps.

So far good after first few runs.

My initial review here. Will update after additional usage: This is a solid mid-range home use treadmill. As someone who has only every used professional grade ones at the gym, I was a bit afraid I'd see a big step down. I don't. The treadmill does a good job maintaining consistent speeds and is rated to up to 300 lbs (I weight about 165). The track bed is amply sized for my 6ft height yet folds up conveniently. NB, it is still big even when folded up. There are a bunch of preprogrammed workouts but I have no intention to ever use these nor will I pay for IFIT. The controls are intuitive, but I do have a few gripes. I wish it listed pace not just speed. I wish you could see distance and time at the same time, but they alternate back and forth. I also wish the speakers were a bit louder. Some have complained that the treadmill is loud, but it is no louder than any I have ever used in the gym. The acoustics of a small room might perhaps make it seem loud.

Worth it

Very happy we bought this. It has been so helpful. It was larger than expected, but it unfolds and folds very easily (although it is a little heavy). It makes some sound, but it's manageable when walking. It's louder when running. We love it and it has made everyone in the family more active. So worth it!
