Cannot be used on a carpeted floor!

The instructions are very difficult to understand. We ended up with a piece that we could not figure out where it goes. The worst part is that you cannot use this on carpet. The drawers are so low to the ground that they do not open with carpet. The carpet pile is above the bottom of the drawers. The carpet is not a high pile. We had to purchase a wood slab to elevate the unit higher from the floor in order to open the drawers.
