Birkenstocks.....Where you order shoes on a decade

I went down a size like I usually do in sandals because I wear a 7 1/2 and hate when my foot hangs out in the back. It is not too short, but I toes hit the rim in the front. I'm hoping the rim will flatten out as they break in. The footbed and even the leather on top is soft. These run very wide, so if you have normal width like me, order a NARROW. Will have to add some holes to make them tighter. My last pair lasted 10 years
