I'm using this without a duvet. All my expectations were met. When the white starts to dim, I'm confident a duvet cover will give the crisp clean look I prefer. I'm especially surprised with the size. I ordered the California even though I have a queen bed. I wanted to have full coverage as I would with a traditional bed spread. I have plenty beyond the edges to cover to a few inches from the floor. It's been low single digit temps here for multiple days. I immediately did the dryer fluff and put it on the bed. Stayed warm all night without any additional insulation.

I ordered and returned 3 duvets before finally keeping this one. All of the other ones had great reviews of people saying how comfortable and fluffy it was, but in reality they would be paper thin. This one even scared me because of how small the package was. but it was actually just vacuum sealed so tightly. It actually is comfortable and fluffy. and for such a great price! it's the cheapest one i even ordered!
