Awesome set
The Maydear Stamped Embroidery Kit for Beginners with Pattern, Cross Stitch kit, Embroidery Starter Kit comes with everything you could need. I got this set for my 11 year old daughter the instructions were so easy she was able to work on this project mostly by herself. The set that I got her is a bunch of adorable daisies and sunflowers. If my 11 year old can do it anyone can do it. This is a wonderful beginner's embroidery set that I would highly recommend to everyone

Comes with everything you need to get started
This embroidery kit has been so enjoyable. It is my first try at embroidery so I was a bit skeptical that I would do well. This kit has everything I needed to get started and be successful. It came with special high quality scissors, a needle threader tool, satin embroidery yarn, the stamped pattern on cloth and the ring for holding the cloth. Honestly, how cool is it that this kit came with special scissors! I didn't have to go digging for a pair of scissors to get started. My son mentioned to me that he has been wanting a pair of these scissors for crocheting. So I will have to keep an eye on them as I can tell he knew they were good scissors for any yarn project. The needle threader has a bright pink end making it easy to see and find and easy to hold. For those of us with less than perfect vision the needle threader is a must. The satin yarn comes on an organized piece of printed cardboard that corresponds with the directions. The kit has the colors already divided and marked for easy access to the number color you need for each part of the pattern. This was so helpful and took the guesswork out of possibly using the wrong color as some greens and other color shades can look so similar. With how thoughtful this kit is, I was able to start working on the pattern on a quiet Saturday morning and truly enjoyed it! I am hooked! Although I can tell it's going to take practice to fully understand the unique threading involved in embroidery I think so far even with a few mistakes it's turning out quite well. I would recommend this kit as a gift for someone in need of a hobby or a crafter who may want to try something new. I also think this kit would be perfect for someone who has tried embroidery before as this kit does offer a challenge in order to really have a flawless final image.

My 12 year old child is enjoying this kit. We like how everything in the kit is layed out and easy to use. The project has begun and a great use of free time. The picture is so cute, too. I think I will get one, too.
