Definitely blackout curtains

These curtains definitely block out the light. I got them in black; not crazy about the black for my bedroom, but cutting out the street light was my priority. These are a thick material. We haven't had severe heat or cold so I cannot test if they are energy efficient, but I am sure they will make a difference with my ac and heat bill. I got four panels over two side/side windows to ensure no gaps in coverage.
