I got this paint roller set to help me paint a room in our house, the room is about a 9x10 so it is not too big. it says to thin the and some but I didn't, I was using Walmart paint so you have an idea. it took a couple of minutes to get paint coming out of the roller but once it started it came out good. I would not want it any thinner myself. I had to put paint in it twice to finish the walls, I already had the corners, ceiling and wall plugs trimmed so that wouldn't be a hold up. probably took about an hour, maybe a little longer but it did a good job. I used to paint around my house a lot and I hate painting a roller pan, I have a nice power painting set with a power roller but I didn't want to get into that much paint clean up. after I finished painting it took about 20 minutes to clean up the roller, it appears the roller has no cardboard liner so it should stand up to being cleaned out with a water hose. personally I think it is worth the $15 and I will be using it more. when you can spend most of your time painting the walls it makes the job go way faster. just be careful as you get close to the end to not have too much paint left in the roller because unless you are going to rap the roller in plastic and freeze it until the next painting job you will lose all the paint left in the roller. I finished my 1st room and cleaned it up, now let's see how it works on my next room down the road.
