Eclipse Samara Solid Blackout Curtains, Set of 2, 63 Inch Long Blackout Curtains, 37" W x 63" L, Light Grey

These Eclipse Samara Blackout Energy-Efficient Thermal Curtains are very nice and look much more expensive than they are. Straight out of the package, the curtains are extremely stiff and unforgiving, with crease marks from being folded. A run through the wash should soften them a bit, but I have not yet washed them. The care instructions state to machine wash, cold, on delicate cycle and line dry. There in lies the problem...how to line dry? Re-hang them on curtain rod? That brings up one major issue. These curtains are extremely heavy and the curtain rod I used (basic, adjustable, 48"-84" single curtain rod) lasted about 10 minutes before bending under the weight of the curtains. I would highly recommend that you invest in a heavy duty curtain rod. I chose the "silver blue" and am very pleased with the color. I've got my eye on other colors that I may purchase to use in other rooms i my home. As far as energy efficiency, I would expect these to keep the heat out in the summer and the cold out in the winter. I was only able to have these curtains hanging for a short time due to the curtain rod issue, but they definitely darken the room considerably. I don't expect them to do much to muffle the noise from the neighbor revving his car engine on Sunday morning. In conclusion, I would recommend these curtains as they are reasonably priced, elegant and will definitely help reduce the heating and cooling costs of your home.

So I just got these curtain panels today so they're not loosened up yet but they are very heavy and beautiful color I got the boysenberry. I needed a set of curtains for my extra room that gets a little bit chilly in the winter and I know these are going to be perfect. They also keep the room very dark at night so they do the job well. they're 54 in long I'm used to getting the 63 inch long panels but these are perfect. I like how thick they are and I'd like how they keep the room really dark I'm going to have to get some more for my bedroom because a lot of sun goes in that room. I definitely recommend these curtain panels and any accessorany and any accessories that go with it. I've looked at other panels that are blackout, energy efficient and the way higher priced than these.
