I loved these curtains. I bought them to darken my room a bit more. I had vertical blinds and sheer curtains up and it still wasn't enough to keep the sun from shining brightly in my room. My only con is they are a bit stiff even after I ironed them. If you are using them alone for room darkening purposes, you will need another panel (blinds or a darker panel) behind it.
