Lucille Ball Barbie Doll

As a Lucy fan, I collect the I Love Lucy Barbie Dolls. I was able to find this one online when my local store does not yet carry it. I am very pleased with this doll. I would like to comment, however, on the availability of the I Love Lucy Dolls in general. I have found that most of the time, they are available only in select Walmart stores in other areas of the country and before I find out about them, they are sold out online and available on on e-bay for inflated prices. This is very unfair in my opinion. I was lucky to learn to this doll in time to get it online at Walmart since my local store does not have it.

By far and away one of the best Lucy dolls! This one is simply Lucille Ball as a young beautiful Hollywood starlet rather than a recreation of a particular I Love Lucy episode as was the case with all of the previous Lucy dolls. This one is a MUST have whether or not you've collected any of the past Lucy dolls!

Lucille Ball tribute doll is a keeper.

I was pleased to get this collectable doll honoring actress/producer, Lucille Ball. Mattel has released about 13 "Lucy Ricardo" prior to what I consider their best "Lucy". This particular doll honors the actress at the height of her fame and glamour (circa 1055). The black lace gown is inspired by an actual lace ensemble Ball wore on "I Love Lucy" and in publicity photos. The doll captures the timeless beauty of the world's most popular TV star. Thanks to Walmart for having it at a price ($39.00) well below others. Left in the box, the doll's value will be double or triple that in a few years.
