McDavid Elite Engineered Elastic Ankle Brace With Figure 6 Strap & Stays, Black, Large

I wear a size 10 mens US sizing, 10.5 in most cleats for extra comfort in the toe area. The sock itself is quite comfortable for me. Several reviews mention the hard material on the sides, I think this is necessary as someone like me requires extra support because of a broken ankle from several years ago. Helps to prevent ankle rolling. I do agree that the straps are a bit short and don't always reach the velcro without pulling extra tight. Overall though, the product does the job I need it to do. I hope future revisions include possibly an extra inch of length on the side straps. For reference I wear the size large.

The brace seems to be okay but I can't tell you for sure. The instructions are so poorly written and presented but I don't even know if I'm putting a thing on properly. Literally when I tell you all there are to the instructions are photos the size of a penny (U.S) at best that's supposed to instruct me how to brace. Every brace should come with a link to a video that shows how to put the thing on. The instructions on the pictures aren't even that clear. This brace is reversible so since I'm bracing the foot that's not shown in the image I'm not 100% sure I'm following the reverse instructions. The brace is meant to be snug and it is at an angle so it's really difficult to pull on. It would make sense if you had something like a pull to help me get the thing on without tearing you. Also on the brace itself why not just have arrows showing where the straps go or have the straps a different color that match up with the color pattern on the brace. There just wasn't a lot of thought that went into this for the end user.
