We are very pleased with this desk. We bought this for our 7yr old son, and it fits him perfectly with room to grow for many years. The distressed look is very nice. And the construction seems to be quite sturdy. We did a slight bit of trouble getting the file drawers to align properly, but with a bit of adjusting they seem to be opening and closing smoothly. Overall, very pleased with this product.

Great Desk for small home office
First I would like to say the other reviews on the color are right. It is more an aged white... slightly yellowed and does have streaks of a darker ivory throughout... I personally think it looks great especially if you enjoy a country look. On assembly as long as you separate all the screws and hardware, follow the directions precisely and pay attention to the way you have the pieces faced (the instructions do show this) it took me about an hour. If there are pieces that are not labeled the look on the unfinished sides the letters are stamped in.
