Perfect cat stairs

I have dedicated one countertop in my kitchen to cat food - but as the cats get older, it's more difficult for them to access the food. I searched endlessly for something that would get close to the level of the countertop and yet not be so ugly that it would look ridiculous in my kitchen. This fit the bill perfectly! It went together pretty well - although the instructions are VERY minimalistic. My only concern turned out to be the slipperiness of the steps - but I'll be applying some clear anti-slip tape to the treads once that arrives. For now, the one kitty that used to sit on the floor and cry to be picked up and placed near her food dish has figured out the use of these steps and no longer needs my assistance. I am happy.
