Purchased this for a week long trip to keep my elderly dog's food at-temp since it required refrigeration. Did not trust those evaporative coolers to be good enough so I wanted a cooler with a real compressor. It did the job well; held about 3lbs of dog food, including about 6oz of tomatoes, a bag of carrots and a container of sliced cantaloupe before it was full - and kept it all very cold - and it all survived the entire trip. While in the car, the temp did vary a little during the travel due to some stops we made to gas up or get food and the car was turned off (so it had no power) but mostly it would catch up quickly and never went over 40. As for the build itself, it would be nice if the plug wasn't on the panel below the display and the controls; it would have been nicer if it were on the long side in the back so it wasn't easy to accidentally unplug the unit since we had it between the first and second row seats and the plug stuck out into the center of the vehicle where our feet might be at any point. Overall it worked well and I am happy with the purchase; one other thing is that some condensation appeared inside the unit during the week we had it on; but I suppose that's normal for the temp we had it set to.

everything! this thing is awesome, unfortunately I had to return because the size didn't work out for my application. I will be repurchasing the armresttall configuration by alpicool. 100% would recommend
