These belts are constructed of highly durable Milspec 550 Tactical Paracord; is made from 7 Strands of 100% Nylon genuine Mil-Spec 550lb parachute cord. The same stuff used by the US Military. It has a breaking strength of 550lbs with a working load of 220lbs. The overall thickness of the parachute cord line is 5/32" diameter and has a consistent stretch of 10% elongation underweight in lab tests
