Awesome Flight within 10 minutes

Seller delivered promptly and my 18 year-old son was able to pilot this unit within 10 minutes of opening the box. He gave a huge **THUMBS UP** after a prior attempt to fly a drone by another manufacturer. He has not tried all of the bells and whistles with this unit (i.e. auto-return, 600 meter flight distance etc.), but after his endorsement, I did a little online research on the company and its products. I have to admit that the manufacturer: Holy Stone boasts the most professional drone website I have seen. Furthermore, this company has a cadre of loyal users who share information at at least one fan /user site. While this unit does not come with VR goggles, its flight capability is awesome. I researched VR capability, and it seems to me a user ought to spend the money to acquire the company's own VR headgear (premium price, though). Why? This unit has a 600 meter range, and Holy Stone sells units up to 6km range (right out of the box). Real-time VR goggles would be necessary to pilot a drone at such a far distance!

the drone is a gift so it has not been used yet it was sent from manufacturer not walmart so i am hoping they read reviews and re think fed ex as shipping option. 90percent of my fed ex deliveries never make it to my door i have 5 steps from side walk to porch and one short gate to open or simply place package over gate onto porch like most deliveries do. this package was not only placed on the steps within arms reach of any passersby but it was put on the edge of a step so it tumbled down two stairs. fed ex almoat never makes it to my porch much less my door.

Very easy to fly, calibration only takes seconds and locks on satellites quickly. Excellent 4K quality on TK disk (disk not included). Extra battery gives me 40 minutes flying time. Includes extra set of props, skrews, and secure carrying case. Big drone features include: Return to home, Follow me, Headless mode , Point to point program,and more! When battery gets low or drone exceeds transmitter range the HS170 comes back to starting point! No more flyaways!
