Canon SC2000 - Case for camcorder - for Canon XA11, XA15, XA40, XA45, XA50, XA55; LEGRIA HF G50; VIXIA HF G21, HF G50, HF G60

I got the bag to go with my daughter's new Canon HG20 HD 60GB Hard Drive Camcorder, and it was $$ well spent, just the cat's meow in the camcorder bag contest. I must have looked at 30+ bags before I found this one, here at Wal-Mart of all places, and it's just so much nicer than everything else available for a svelte, chic new camcorder setup like the HG20's that it deserves 5-stars in everything but value...it was a little pricey at over $65 shipped, with taxes added, but then again you get what you pay for. The bag itself has a nifty top "pocket cover" arrangement that runs all along the top of the bag, which protects the camcorder and the rest of the items inside quite well, even with rough treatment. The material the bag is made of is very high quality Rip-Stop Nylon, with reinforced corners, and multi-adjustable "pockets" inside, so you can mix and match the space there, depending on what you've got to store. There's a very nice camcorder spot, which is just purrfect for the HG20's size, with a nice soft material to protect the finish there. There's pockets galore also, outside and inside the bag, so you can stash extra equipment where you will and there's plenty of space to stash everything securely. The bag DOES have the Canon name stitched on it, so it's very befitting for a new Canon Camcorder, or DSLR camera if the mood fits, but it's really made for camcorders per se ie, the construction, and pockets, plus the multi-chamber-design on the inside is just the best, a really efficient and nice way to use the space inside the bag. It's not too large, either, so that's another thing to mention about this particular bag, it seems to be just the right size for a camcorder, a lens or two extra, the charger and spare battery, filters and other extras that you might have to store in a secure location. Overall, it's not triple-fancy or expensive like a TenBa, or other "big name" bag out there, but it's really appropriate for Canon products, and it's well worth the $60 price tag IMO. You could spend less, and be happy, but for a nice camcorder it's cool to spend a little extra and get the best one for the application, which is what we did. Our daughter likes the bag a LOT, and is very pleased with the nice setup she's got for her movie making now. So, thumbs up here on this review, all around an excellent bag, constructed well, reinforced in the right placesn , not too large, just right for a single camcorder and the accessories you'd normally have and then some extra room for whatever else you want to be carrying. Wal-Mart shipped the bag on a Sunday before XMas, and we got it on Tuesday via FedEx Ground Home Service, so we were very pleased with the timing of the order and the fulfillment process by Wal-Mart. Good job, and great bag!
