So sturdy

This strainer is so sturdy, it will last you a lifetime. It arrived in a white envelope when I was gone and lay on my driveway. I didn't see it and ran over it. I backed up to move my car and ran over it again. Then I saw it: a white package under my tire. But it wasn't toast. The mesh wasn't nearly flat but I was able to push it back into the bowl shape again using lots of pressure. Every part of the strainer is in like-new condition now. I bought it to strain tiny canned vegetables, vegetable pieces, starchy, powdery grains and sugary dried fruits to get rid of the salt water that canned goods are usually packed in, and to remove starch and sugars. I was surprised the plastic handle wasn't broken but nothing broke or was twisted or damaged after I fixed the stainless steel strainer. VERY sturdy. Worth every penny.
