I was pleasantly surprised by it's ability to hold everything in AND be very comfortable! I couldn't figure out which size to order because I was right in between sizes. If the bigger size fit, it wouldn't really be compressing, but what if the smaller size didn't fit? I took a gamble and ordered the smaller size. I received item and thought, “drats! I should have gone with the bigger size.” I said this to myself throughout each step: pulling over my butt, hooking each eyelet, hooking the top latch, zipping it up, pulling the straps over my arms. But guess what? It fit!!! I had it on for 8 to 10 hours a day and didn't take it off till evening. I'm very happy with my purchase
