it took a little bit of fiddling and my roommate more acquainted with USB than I am and integrated with the HDMI cables I bought the little unit that has the RCA outs in the HDMI and I think he managed to utilize it. I'll be prepared to have to make some changes this is a monitor so you probably won't have that difficulty with a regular television set this is a 42 inch monitor and I'm using a fire stick so it complicates things a little bit. but it's doable.
