I purchased 6 of these umbrellas for my plants! I have many in pots and when it rains a lot, the pots fill up and before it runs off, the plants die from too much water on their roots. By placing these colorful umbrellas into the pots so they will deflect the rain, my plants have a better chance of surviving the wet weather - the added plus is that the umbrellas add a pop of color when the skies are grey.
