I ended up purchasing this bed for my 18 month old son due to him climbing out of the crib. Overall, the bed has been an awesome adjustment, so glad we decided to purchase it. I no longer have to worry about him hurting himself while getting in and out the bed considering it's on the floor. However, I will say the front bar can be a little wobbly at times, but nothing worth concerning yourself with too much. I think my son is just a little adventurous at times and try's swinging on it lol.
