Product details
The Alpha Medical Brand Universal Shoulder Immobilizer & Sling is designed to gently cradle the arm in the bent position from the elbow to the hand. The sling can be separated from the pillow and used independently. The shoulder strap is made from a soft dual ply material. There is an adjustable pad over the top of the shoulder. The shoulder strap is adjustable w/ Velcro at both ends of the sling. The pillow is made of foam formed to nestle against the side of the body. Can be used for the left or right arm.

This Sling fits Well and Does its Job
The sling is well-constructed and properly sized. It seems to fulfill the extra task of immobilizing my shoulder after the upcoming operation. Pay close attention to how the Velcro straps buckled belts attach to each other. I also appreciate the "hand stop" to more securely keep the arm and elbow tucked in. The sling is worth the purchase price. I would recommend one to my friends or family.

Comfortable and good for standing
This is really nice if you are standing for long periods. The pillow supports your arm and keeps the pressure off of the shoulder. This helps to keep it from becoming more inflamed and allows it to rest while healing. This is good if you sit in a chair that does not have arms also. I found that it made my arm too high in my computer chair with arms, but you can remove the pillow. It is made very well and is comfortable. I am healing from a tear in my rotator cuff.
