Glad that I swapped manufacturers.

Used HP for decades until their declining product quality and service drove me to another source. so far I view the Brother printer that I purchased as far superior to the product that it replaced. My decision was driven, in a great degree, by the fact that my solicitation for advice on what printer to purchase resulted in essentially 100% of the recommendations encouraged me to go with Brother.

A gift for my Parents. They Love it.

A gift for my Parents. They Love it. - It's important that we manage our expectations. With WFH in 2020 I am budgeting about $200 a year max on printing(especially during covid) It has become our necessity like groceries.Functionality, features, and ease of use are what contribute to my high rating. My Mom does research and prints quite extensively. In 3 months she has used almost all of the Black Ink. She has printed over 500 pages(which is reasonable). It's a networked printer so we can print from anywhere, from our phones, and also double sided-printing/scanning. The color cartridges are still surprisingly at full capacity(1,000 pages remaining). Overall it has met and exceeded expectations.
