Continental VikingContact 7 Winter 195/50R16 88T XL Passenger Tire

I have a 2008 Mustang Shelby GT, with less than 40K miles. This is the 4th set of tires, just based on age. My previous set (from previous owner) were Pirelli P Zeros... for Pirelli to supposedly be a "performance" brand, these just DO NOT hold any traction. But since they were 6 years old, I needed to get something new, that I'll probably only put about 5,000 miles on, until they age out. I went from a Firestone Indy 500 quote of over $900 to these for less than $350!!! Have only driven a couple of times, but so far, traction seems better than the ZEROs. They feel smooth and seem to be quieter. We'll see what I think over the next few years, but if they continue to perform this way... Yeah, I'll get another set of these Turkish made tires.
