Instructions:
1. Park and turn off engine, open hood, lock door, and wait for ECU to enter sleep.
2. Clamp battery terminal (negative) with spring clip, then use fully wrapped battery clip to clamp battery terminal clip (negative)/ground.
3. Flip switch to ON position (l/closed); Plug 4mm banana plug (red) into multimeter A/10/20A jack, and 4mm banana plug (black) into multimeter COM jack.Turn dial of multimeter to point to A/10A/20A gear.
4. Loosen battery terminal clip nut with wrench, then disconnect battery terminal clip from battery terminal, which can be separated by cardboard or sheet.
5. Turn switch to OFF (O/Disconnect) to read current value by multimeter.
6. If you need to change of multimeter, you should turn switch to ON (l/Closed), and then turn multimeter dial. appropriate and re-plug to 4mm banana jack (red) [if necessary], and then turn switch to OFF (ON/Disconnect).
Notes:
1. Please turn off engine and remove key before testing current leakage. Do not start engine during test to burning fuse.
2. Current leakage testing needs to simulate usual state when car is -off, please be sure to shut door, pull out key (can be locked), so that car computer into a sleep state.
3. Different car computers enter hibernation state at different times, so please be patient when measuring to determine whether current leakage is generated.
4. computer standby current varies from car to car, but ideal value should be between 20 and 60 .
5. It is recommended to use a 10A fuse to replace fuse of line tester to burning multimeter.
