This is my third pair of Superiors. One thing that was always weird about Superiors was that they ran super-small. No longer - I ordered a pair of these in Size 9, my typical size in this model, and they were ginormous, way too long. My correct size now is 8. (I generally get an 8.5 in the Escalante Racers just to make sure my little toes have ample room - probably could also wear an 8 in those. Used to wear an 8 in Ones. I'm actually a 7 in Bedrock Sandals, or even a 6 in Reef flip flops.) They fit sleek. The sole is actually flexible, mirabile dictu. The toe spread is just fine. They're super light. I consider these a real improvement to a shoe I already found just fine. I gave the 9s to my daughter. We'll both be wearing these for a 2-week hike this June.

The Superior was my first model of Altras back in 2015. I was super stoked to give them a try again after mainly using the Timps, Lone Peaks, and Olympus. The Superior 4s are great for trails and very lightweight! And I absolutely love the neon yellow color!
