First catchers mit ever purchased. I'm a coach of a 14U travel baseball team and needed something that could hold up to the speed these kids are throwing at. I used a couple of the kids high end mits and they were hard to catch with. This glove is perfect for someone looking to catch between innings, warm-up pitchers, or play catch with in general. It has a great POP to it when catching, it's easy to squeeze, and I was able to break it in, in less than an hour of playing pass with my kids. I gave it 5 stars because it's what I needed and it is working out better than anticipated. Longevity, who knows; it will last me for 5 plus years.

My son loves this for when he is pitching or plays outfield. A little big for infield, but could work. Came almost broken in (90%), so it was ready to use right away!
