I kept pouring expensive drain cleaner down my drain every time it was slow to drain. It barely helped. Within 2 minutes of receiving this on my doorstep, I had a free-flowing drain that I could turn on the cold and hot water all the way and nothing would back up into the sink. I don't know how I lived without this all these years. I guess I thought the plunger was for completely stopped up drains. I let the water fill in the sink a little and scooped water into the plunger then plunged. It worked great! It pulled sludge from the pipes and cleared the pipes for a smooth flow. A great product for a great price.
