I was very surprised when I put up these blue curtains because of thought the medium blue color would have allowed in excess light and heat into my living room; however, I was pleasantly surprised when it did not! I like to have the option of allowing or not allowing light into the room. I like it dark if I'm watching a movie, for instance. In the pictures I took you can clearly see how well they block the sunlight. The curtains have your standard circle or O shaped rings at the top and hang on any standard curtain rod. Very easy to install in seconds! My 15 year old daughter did it for me in under a minute. I really love the color and the effectiveness of these curtains! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I received the Beautyrest Silver Blackout Window Curtain Panel Pairs to give my honest opinion. I decided to get the Beautyrest window curtain for my bedroom window because my shades are in bad shape. Since my window shades are in bad shape, I am having to wake up earlier than I want because of the early sunlight. I have noticed I tend to sleep much longer in the Fall and Winter months because the daylight doesn't show up until later on. So I figure why not try the Beautyrest window curtain? So far, as you can see from the photos, my bedroom is much darker because less sun can penetrate through my window.
