This was my first real retinol product I started using 3 months ago. I use it every night and sometimes in the morning. My skin needs it. I'm using other retinol products with this one now and with all of them my skin appears smoother, softer, brighter & stronger .

My skin is on the drier and more sensitive side, so I can't handle strong retinoids. This one fits the bill in that it has never irritated my skin or caused me to purge. And, with consistent long term use (eg, 6 or more weeks) it definitely improved my skin. That said, you have to set your expectations accordingly -- if you're looking for something that will blow your hair back with results after one night (or even a week or two), this isn't the product for you. In fact, the first time I tried it, I gave it two or three weeks and wasn't impressed; but after going around and trying others, and getting irritation and purge breakouts and generally looking much worse, I decided to come back to this and give it a longer time, and that did the trick. So, if you can settle into "slow and steady wins the race" then this is such a great, gentle, affordable and clean option.
