Unit was defective. Spent money to have a plumber install only to find out it did not work. He believed it was a refurbished or counterfeit unit definitely would not recommend.

Steam Unit failed twice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my steam unit for over a year. It was completely failed twice. Apparently there is a float attached to a valve similar to a toilet. It has failed twice. I was not home and water flowed through the steam port for days.

Terrible quality

Both the float switch and float valve have failed multiple times. Float switches have both fallen apart inside the unit and just stopped working internally. Float valve has seized up, and after replacement the rubber tip to stop the incoming water failed. Constant controller of 62 PSI incoming water. Unfortunately My unit is now out of the warranty period and parts do not appear to be able to be purchased or sourced from Kohler.
