Upgraded 3-flute 4-spur forstner drill bit facilitates efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting resistance, helping to create a cleaner entry hole and providing better stability. The extra flutes and spurs allow for a more precise and smoother drilling, making it suitable for projects that require high precision and a high finish.
Spur design helps guide it through wood and ensure accurate start holes, reducing slippage. 15 degree angel flute and arc curve design head for easy chip-removal, more efficient perforation.
Forstner wood drill bit is suitable for softwood, hardwood, solid wood, plywood, coated particle board, laminate and MDF. Easily drills flat-bottomed and pocket holes with precise, smooth finish. Widely used for furniture joints and woodworking projects, such as mortise joints, dowels, hinge cups, shelf pin, pocket screw.
Universal round shank can be used with a wide variety of tool holder systems, such as handheld drills, drill presses, CNC routers, and lathes. Recommended to use on desktop (fixed) equipment. Always keep the forstner bit firmly in place when drilling.
Do not drill metal and non-ferrous metals. Make sure there are no nails or other metal objects in the wood before drilling. Use a cutting oil or lubricant, control the speed, apply pressure gradually, and always wear personal protective equipment. The cutting edge and tip should be sharpened in time.
