Barbie Careers Robotics Engineer Doll, Dark Brown Hair

I recently got this for a friend's daughter. I am a woman in Computer Science and I have to say that it really made me smile to go into the toys isle and see my occupation represented to little girls. I spent my young life not believing computing was a viable option for me, due to a lack of exposure and role models. This product is a step in the right direction. It even comes with lessons for young girls to learn from, which is important as schools still struggle to find funding and talent to teach kids (much less little girls) anything about engineering or programming. I really hope to see more of this soon.

I never had these types of dolls available to me when I was a kid so I had to make sure my little sister did. I bought it for her and it quickly be ame her fa orite doll of all - she's not the type to normally like dolls but this one is an exception!
