Nesco LiquidLock Premium Vacuum Sealer Combo Kit

I have had two smaller, much cheaper vacuum sealers and both failed within about 20 vacuums. Decide to scale up with this one. It has not failed in the slightest; from cutting the bags, dealing and most important vacuuming. The smaller ones would consistently vacuuming without removing any air from bag and never getting to a point to seal! This is despite keeping the units clean and positioning bags correctly. Cutting the bags to size was a chore. This NESCO makes cutting the bags a 2 second breeze, not mistakes, no scissors and a perfect straight cut every time. Vacuums in just about 5 seconds: I will say there is no difference between normal and gentle suctions. Sealing takes longer than the smaller units I've had, but by no means a deal breaker. Only concern is HOW LONG will this unit last? For $217 tax it better last my lifetime as I use a sealer about 4 to 8 times per month for exceedingly quick jobs of breaking up a large package of meats or prepping fresh veggies for freezer. Over all I am THRILLED with the work of this sealer!
