This toaster has a glossy black plastic finish that looks great in my kitchen. I like the fact that when you push the lever down it snaps into place as my other toaster would not lock in and you had to do it several times. When toast is completed it pops up and you can hear it which lets me know it is ready. Defrost button is a plus.

This is the first toaster I have purchased in a long time. Appears nice and has worked well on first use. It is hard to see what setting it is on since it's black notch is on black knob. I used blue painter tape to mark where the hard to see notch is.
