You get what you pay for, most times. These are a bit better. These mics are very directional, more so than most Dynamic Cardioid mics. A 15-degree tilt will dramatically reduce the sound. Don't get me wrong, these mics have good sound and pickup but they have a very narrow pickup "beam". Nice weight and a good "feel" on the on/off switch. The Sound is as good as the Beringer Mics I used to use for Karaoke Shows. I like cheaper mics as these are some used by inebriated people, lol. Throw away mics with a good pick are hard to find. Use these for home or tossable MICs with No Fear! ~Enjoy Life
