PERFECTED!

I was extremely skeptical after having multiple thumb related issues with the last OPI LED Lamp (they were not curing). But this lamp has definitely improved! My clients love how roomy it is inside, the handle is GREAT for moving and handling purposes, it looks very professional and clean and there is ample room for clients to rest on top as I polish. The key to curing those thumbs is to have clients place them on the white "ramp like" object inside so that the thumbs receive direct light. As far as the auto settings, I haven't had an issue but I only plan on using the manual setting due to clients going back in for unnecessary (over) curing. Overall I am VERY pleased as I do not like to cross mix products. Thank you OPI for the upgrade!

Worth it in the mean time

I bought this light even after reading all of the negative reviews. Why? Well, you can't cure Prohealth properly without this light. Gels are very sophiscated and they need the proper light from the manufacturer. I wanted to test if the negative reviews are true. They are. The thumb WILL NOT CURE PROPERLY. Despite this, you cannot use another lamp until OPI engineers another lamp. I truly hope OPI is working on a new light. I absolutely love the design of lamp. It looks very professional and very cute.

Needs improvement of Dual Cure Led Light Machine

I am an owner of a nail salon and I currently own 5 Dual Cure Led Light machine. Prices are decent. I know you have tried to improve the efficiency of the curing, but when used it we still have it still didn't cure the sides of the thumbs. The LED lights are not low enough to cure the edges of the pinky and thumbs, especially when the thumbs don't sit flat on top of the platform. The sides and corners of the thumb don't cure well and doesn't last very long and chips quicker. We have not had this problem with the previous OPI LED Light machines. Hopefully in the future the LED machines will include lights low enough to cure the sides and corners of the thumbs and pinkies. My suggestion is to add Led lights on each side of the platforms for the thumbs/pinkies.

Check to see your client’s hand placement is properly is properly placed with the fingers in the grooves and thumb placed on top of the thumb ledge and thumbs are tilted up towards the lights. You may need to walk over to your client’s point-of-view to assure they are properly placing their hand. Refer to manufacturers manual for proper hand placement instructions.
