Support: The Alpha Medical Knee Immobilizer has three preformed stays that support all the way down the back of the leg and knee. The stays are formed for an anatomical fit and greater comfort. There are rigid stays on both sides of the knee to provide greater immobilization and lateral support to the knee and leg. There are three to six (depending on the length) elastic straps that secure the immobilizer and provide compression to the knee.

Comfort and Fitting: The Alpha Medical Knee Immobilizer is made with quality laminated foam that can be trimmed to accommodate the user. The entire outside of the immobilizer is hook receptive so the straps will attach anywhere on the brace. The lateral stays are also attached with hook and can be moved and arranged for correct application regardless of the user’s size.

Sizing: The Alpha Medical Knee Immobilizer is universally sized meaning that it will fit around most legs big and small but there are several options for length. The Knee Immobilizer is available in lengths of 12 inch, 14 inch, 16 inch, 18 inch, 20 inch, 22 inch, and 24 inch. If you are unsure about what length is right for you ask you healthcare provider or measure your leg. The middle of the knee is where the middle of the Immobilizer will be placed.

Application instructions: (initial fitting) Open All fasteners and unfold the knee immobilizer support brace. Peel the lateral stays off the sides of the brace. In the sitting position with the leg straight wrap the immobilizer brace around the leg and mark the inside and outside of the knee. Remove the immobilizer attach the lateral stays. Re-wrap the knee immobilizer around the leg and fasten the elastic straps. Adjust the straps for comfort and proper support. If there is excess material overlapping in the front of the leg the material can be trimmed. Do not trim the elastic straps.

Care Instructions: Hand or machine wash with mild detergents. Air or line dry do not use dyer. Do not iron.
