SARAFINA! THE SOUND OF FREEDOM [ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK]

Beautiful voices...beautiful arrangements...You can really feel the souls of the South African people as they sing about their lives and the state of affairs of that time. I bought this CD when it first came out but lost it several years later. I am finally adding this version of Sarafina back into my music collection (I also have the stage version...also WORTH the purchase price). The only reason I have given it '4 stars' for 'Meet Expectations' is because if you are looking for the soundtrack from the stage production you might be a little disappointed (musically, there are marked differences between the two). Otherwise, it is worth having both versions in your music collection.
