These are as advertised and shown—clean white ceramic with the “cute cats” cleanly illustrated as in the graphic. I should have paid more attention; these are smaller than I thought. They're 7½ cm (3”) wide at the rim and about half that on the inside bottom. They hold 60 cc (about 4 tablespoons) of liquid when filled to the brim (which you wouldn't want often to do). The photo shows a Canadian dollar—slightly larger than a US quarter. They'd be good as a small side dish for something like soy sauce. They're too small for the use I ordered them from, but nice enough to hold on to for other purposes.
