Beautiful but fragile and complicated
This bed is beautiful and the price was right. But it definitely does not feel sturdy. And I would highly doubt it's really able to hold the amount of weight it says it's able to hold. It was also extremely difficult to put together. It's very complicated and took about 8 hours. Unless you have a woodworker in the family who could help you assemble and reinforce it, I don't recommend it.

The assembly was terrible. Took me 3 days because I kept having to guess and check. Make sure you have a drill with a screwdriver bit and an Allen key bit bc that would take up the most time. The instructions are only pictures, which would be fine, but some of my labels were missing or mislabeled. So there was a ton of unnecessary back tracking. If you're not handy, hire the helpers. I was also missing a few screws and bolts. I had to go to a store to see if there was anything I could use. I still need to call the company to see if I can get the bolts sent separately. Hopefully they can. Sturdiness is fairly sturdy, but I still caution my children playing too hard on it. Slide makes me nervous because it's a lot thinner than I expected and a bit steep. We pile up stuffed animals at the bottom for them to fall into. It's also tricky at the stairs. They're not clear where you attach the magnet piece for the storage or where to attach the front parts of the step too. I'm being very specific so you know what you're getting into as a parent who needs to put this together, but my children are absolutely in love and it gives extra space for their cousins to come spend the night and play too. So overall it's a win.

It took my son and I about 4 hours to put together. Some instructions were not clear. It is a beautiful bunk bed set. I would recommend this. My granddaughters love the slide and I love the drawers and stair cubbies to keep thier room organized.
